Vacuum on a regular basis to keep the wood clean. You may use a damp cloth for the regular cleaning of your furniture. You can also apply a color guard, or sealer to protect against UV rays and slow down the aging process. Wood protector should be reapplied once or twice a year to provide continuous protection. If your wood outdoor furniture has already started to weather, use a good wood cleaner or refinish your furniture to restore its color. Whenever it becomes visibly dirty. First, clean your furniture with a softbristle brush and soapy water to remove accumulated dirt. For tough stains and mildew, add one part household bleach to two parts water in the soap solution. Rinse well after washing. Avoid using pressure washers and steel wool on your furniture, as these can cause damage.
