Wood Care: Teak furniture does not require any special maintenance routine or any additional protection apart from occasional cleaning. Left to age naturally outside, teak will gradually change from its original color to a soft, silver-grey as the pigments in the surface layer of the wood begin to fade away. We recommend that you allow your teak furniture to weather naturally this way and simply clean thoroughly once or twice a year with Teak Cleaner to remove accumulated dirt. Fabric Care: Using a soft sponge and lukewarm water with mild soap is sufficient to keep them looking at their best for years to come. After cleaning, rinse the stool with clean water. Rope Care: Is recommended to use a fabric and upholstery protector to give optimal stain resistance. This is usually applied as a spray and one of the most common brands to use is 3M Scotchgar Protector. In order to spot-clean the rope, do apply a mist of a soapy water solution with a spray bottle and then work the solution into the rope with a soft cloth by blotting or using light pressure and short strokes. Do not abrade the rope with excessive scrubbing or by using a hard brush. Rinse the solution thoroughly and then blot excess moisture from the rope using a soft cloth and allow it to air-dry. Never use a high-pressure hose on the PP rope.
